So, our humble podcast, Clave45, got its first FaceBook ban.
The cause?
A meme, critizicing right-wing groups in the US.
Judge for yourself.
We have always demonstrated a zero tolerance with the intolerant.
Given the fact that BlueLivesMatter got created as a useless response to the group Black Lives Matter…
And given the fact that MANY (Not all, but many) police officers have no issue showing and displaying affinity towards confederate symbols, something intrinsically associated with slavery..
and given the fact that many confederate symbols support white supremacy….
and given the fact that many white supremacists feel ideologically aligned with NAZI ideology…
fail to see what does FB deem as hate speech in the meme.
We feel that middle ground and lack of a stance, just lets the racists, ignorant and basest members of our society stand out.
Karl Popper already explained that in the paradox of the tolerant.

It seems Facebook wants to tolerate and not offend the intolerant.
They seem bent on protecting the feeling of the far-right, the ones in power, the status quo, and i am extending this to the group Blue Lives Matter, which should have never been allowed to be formed.
Do we need a group called “Senators Matter”?
Or a group called “CEO of multinationals have feelings too”?
Again, we don’t know who are Facebook is protecting…
The confederate symbols, the Nazi symbols, or the police groups whose behaviors and killings of citizens have elicited protests and sometimes riots through out the country.
But i know that those who don’t oppose abuse, is because they are part of the problem.
By association, I feel disgusted to retain an account in Facebook.
Is it time to start using MINDS?
